On May 21, 2022 William “Bill” Charles Niebling was welcomed into eternal life by his parents William and Elenora Niebling, his cherished daughter, JulieAnn but most importantly by the presence of his Lord and Savior. He left his earthly home on White Lake peacefully with his beloved daughter Rae Lynn and dear wife Ardis by his side with the support of their families.
Bill was born on February 12, 1937 in Milwaukee. Bill was the son of Rev. William Niebling D.D. who was married to his wife Elenora. As a family they resided in Wauwatosa where they spent their time dedicated to the church and summers spent at their family cottage on White Lake, Montello, WI.
Bill was proud to serve in the Wisconsin Air National Guard. He was then joined in marriage to June Marten on June 25, 1960. They resided in Brookfield where they welcomed their two daughters: JulieAnn and Rae Lynn. Bill then started his career for True Value where he had found love for retail hardware. Starting as a high school student making .35 an hour to owning his own True Value Store in Clintonville 1975. This led to starting a Convert- a- Furnace business and designing Aunt Sarah wood furnaces. Many family road trips were made including a couple trips to Florida, Virginia and a RV trip out West.
In 1985, Bill and June parted ways, where he was then joined in marriage to Ardis (Pingel) Engelien on November 25, 1989. They resided in Montello where they enjoyed living amongst the wildlife on beautiful White Lake where Bill grew up. They took pleasure in traveling all over the country with their whirlpool business, partook in the Princeton flea market and especially enjoyed traveling to Lynchburg, VA and Canada.
Bill enjoyed cars, owning forty-four cars throughout his lifetime! Fishing, telling jokes, history, politics, spending time with family and attending his grandchildren’s performances. Bill went out of his way to surprise his daughters and grandchildren when he was looking for a car ride adventure. Bill had a great respect for Jerry Falwell's ministry and Liberty University. His family viewed him as a generous man. They loved his sense of humor and always looked forward to his text messages which usually consisted of a joke or words of encouragement.
