William DeWitt

William “Bill” Allan DeWitt, age 58 of New Berlin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home. Bill was born in West Allis to Lacy “Herman” and Mavis (Mittlesteadt) DeWitt on January 14, 1966. He graduated from Muskego High School in 1984 and furthered his education at Waukesha Area Technical College earning a degree in Tool and Die Making. Bill’s career spanned over 30 years, retiring in 2019. 

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and in his younger years, snow skiing. He will be remembered for his kindness, adventurous, and outgoing spirit.

Bill is survived by his brother, Gary of Spotsylvania, VA and nephew, Nicklaus along with several other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Susan DeWitt.

Bill will be inurned next to his parents with private family services at the Montello City Cemtery.
