Wade Johnson

Wade Paul Johnson, age 66 of Westfield passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Wade was born in Byron, IL on December 28, 1950 to Laverne and Helen Johnson. He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from 1969 until 1971. Wade returned from the Air Force and worked as painter until becoming disabled. He was simple man and enjoyed his solitude in his home in the town of Springfield, Marquette County. Wade had a way with animals; he cared for them like no other. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family and his wild animals. Wade leaves behind his daughter, Holly Johnson and her son, Hunter Higginbotham both of Janesville. He is preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held at a later date.
