Tracy Boeker

Tracy Lynn Boeker , age 58 of Germania passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on Thursday, January 24, 2019.  Tracy was born in Portage to Harlow “Stub” and Janice (Nankivell) Nelson on August 26, 1960.  Tracy began riding horses at a very young age; before she was even 10 years old she won numerous awards at horse shows all over south central Wisconsin.  She was a member of the Saddle Tramps 4-H Club and competed every year at the Marquette County Fair.  Tracy graduated from Montello High School in 1978 and married Wayne “Buddy” Boeker II on March 29, 1980.  Together they have resided in Germania and were blessed with three children.

Tracy worked at M & I (now BMO Harris) Bank in Wautoma for 23 years and briefly at Brakebush.  She enjoyed shopping, crafting and was an avid sports fan.  Nana was her proudest title and taking care of her family especially her grandchildren was very important to her.

Tracy leaves behind her husband of almost 39 years, Buddy and two children: Laura (Ryan) Schmidt of Fond du Lac and Cory (Chelsey) Boeker of Westfield as well as three grandchildren: Austin, Flynn and Eva.  She is also survived by her brother, Tim (Lisa) Nelson and sister, Melanee (Glenn) Schultz as well as three sisters-in-law: Jan (Dean) Below, Jill (Neal) Cain and Missy (Donny) Heller and many nieces, a nephew and friends.

Tracy is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Amanda Boeker and nephews: Joshua Schultz and Greg Cain as well as in-laws: Wayne and Gladys Boeker.

A memorial service for Tracy Boeker will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service.  Pastor Larry Sheppard will preside and private family inurnment will take place at a later date in the Germania Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.
