Todd Luger

Todd A. Luger, age 42 of Oxford died unexpectedly Sunday, October 27, 2013 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Todd was born in Portage on May 4, 1971 to David and Linda (Ramker) Luger. He graduated from Westfield High School in 1989 and went on become a very talented heavy equipment operator and diesel mechanic. Todd was a very giving person and would help anyone. He had a huge heart and his life was centered around his daughter, Miranda. Other passions included being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing as well as listening to country music. Though Todd left us too soon, he and his kind personality will always be remembered. Survivors include: his daughter, Miranda and parents: Linda (Richard Solis) Luger of Pardeeville and David (Shirley) Luger of Endeavor as well as siblings: Brad (Jessica) Luger of Oxford and Tonya Tallard of Wyocena. Todd is also survived by his nieces: Madelyn and Kayla, grandfather, Faye Luger and godparents: Virjean and Darrel Renner. He is further survived by the mother of his daughter, Melissa Bagely and many other relatives and friends.

Todd is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Arlene Luger, maternal grandparents: Vivian and Virgil Ramker, aunt, Fern Spillner and infant cousin, Dustin Renner. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oxford Bible Church. Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Chris Sherrick will officiate and following the traditional service, Todd will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
