Tim Martin

Timothy "Tim" Irl Martin, age 76 of Montello passed away Thursday evening, November 13, 2014 at UW Hospital in Madison. Tim was born in Milwaukee to Omer and Esther (Nicholas) Martin on June 16, 1938. He married Shirley Belanger and together they raised their two daughters in the Milwaukee area; she preceded him in death on February 5, 1996. Tim married Karen Jahnz on May 3, 2001 and together they enjoyed living on Williams Lake south of Montello.

Tim worked for Evinrude Outboard Motors for 33 years until retiring. He was an avid Brewers, Badgers, Bucks and Packers fan. Tim also enjoyed fishing, boating and serving as Lake Manager of Williams Lake for over ten years. He looked forward to spending time with his family; especially granddaughters, Valerie and Amanda. Survivors include: his wife, Karen and two daughters: Susan Martin of Milwaukee and Judy (Ed) Prusak of Sussex as well as two granddaughters: Valerie and Amanda. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Chris (Pete) Baker of Olive Branch, MS and their children: Jason (Val) and Jamie (Jack) Harrison as well as his beloved canine companion, Cookie. Tim is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Shirley. A funeral service for Tim will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 3:30p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home of Montello led by Pastor Jeff Radley. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service. A graveside prayer service led by Pastor James Gorman will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in Brookfield.
