Thomas Daniels

Thomas “Tom” Lee Daniels , age 69 of Montello passed away peacefully Monday, June 14, 2021.  Tom was born in Berlin on October 15, 1951 to Dale and Betty (Wells) Daniels.  He graduated from Montello High School and worked as a chef for many years at Gramma’s Corner Café in Portage.  He was an avid coin collector and also enjoyed fishing, kayaking and bird watching.  Tom liked to spend time with his family and will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need.

Tom is survived by his two children: Bill (Tanya) Daniels of Madison and Monica (Adam) Bednarek of Montello and as well as two grandsons: Aden Daniels and Mason Bednarek.  He is also survived by three brothers:  Dennis (Linda), Allen (Gail) and Dick (Bridgette) all of Montello as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Shaun Bednarek and siblings:  Mary, Dan, Scott and Gary.

A memorial service for Thomas Daniels will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  Pastor Kristen Lowe will preside and inurnment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.
