Susan M. (Adler) Siegle, age 65 of Montello passed away peacefully with her husband and canine companion, Shadow by her side Monday morning, February 10, 2014 at her home after a courageous ten year battle with cancer. Susan was born in Middleton, the youngest child of A.J. and Cecilia (Pape) Adler on October 19, 1948. She had a very successful career as a legal secretary, association administrator, real estate agent and real estate appraisal business owner, which was known as Adler Appraisals. Susan married her loving companion, Dennis Siegle in Nassau, Bahamas on March 20, 2002 and together they traveled extensively and in 2008 purchased a seasonal home in Bullhead City, AZ. Susan loved boating, golfing and playing pool with Dennis and close friends: Jim and Susanne Culbertson, Karlene Utke, Roy and Mary Ann Paul, Dick and Joanie Hunter, Tom and Wendy Metcalf, Jeff and Brenda Kendall and Jim and Mary Sanfilippo. They enjoyed teasing their friends and family with warm pictures from Arizona. Survivors include: her husband, Dennis and two children: Evan (Niki) Siegle of Green Bay and Corey (Shilo) Siegle of Nashville, TN as well as four grandchildren: Lexi, Ella, Gavin and Giana. She is also survived by two brothers: Fritz (friend Jan) Adler of Windsor and Peter (friend Patti) Adler of Waunakee as well as four sisters: Mary Ann Simon of Madison, Janice (Gene) Christenson of Milwaukee, Janet (Ron) McLean of Monona and Judy (Henry) Froese of Prairie du Sac. She is further survived brother-in-law, George (Florence) Siegle of Montello and sister-in-law, Cheryl Graf of West Allis and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sister Mari Therese Adler, two sisters-in-law: Ruth Ann Adler and Judy Adler and a niece JoLynn Adler. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Mike Amberg will lead the service and inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Budda-Box Fight Against Cancer, P.O. Box 91, Westfield, WI 53964.
