Shawn Eder

Shawn Thomas Eder, age 48 of Wisconsin Dells (rural Oxford) passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at his home. Shawn was born in Madison to Lynn and Kathleen (Lutz) Eder on August 15, 1968. He grew up in Deforest and attended Deforest High School. While in the Madison area, Shawn tended bar at the Park Motor Inn near the Capitol. In 1994, Shawn moved with his family to rural Wisconsin Dells when they purchased the K and L Campground. While his primary job was caretaking at the Campground, he also worked for Oberdorf HVAC. Shawn enjoyed pontooning in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter and will be forever missing by his family and many friends in both Deforest and Wisconsin Dells. Shawn is survived by his parents, Lynn and Kathleen, brother, Mike (Sue) of Deforest and sister, Julie Eder of Wisconsin Dells as well as five nieces and nephews: Brooke, Kimberly, Stephanie, William and Nicole. He also leaves behind many extended family members and "The Crew" at K and L Campground. A Celebration of Shawn's Life will be held at Parker Lake Lodge, 3263 N Parker Lake Rd, Oxford, WI 53952 on Saturday, January 21, 2017 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Crawford Funeral and Cremation Service of Oxford and Montello is honored to be serving the family. www.CrawfordFH.com
