Sharon Zittlow

Sharon (Schwochert) Zittlow, age 57 of Oshkosh, formerly of Montello passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home on Friday, December 10, 2010. She was born on May 18, 1953 in Montello to Elmer and Dorothy (Frederick) Schwochert. She graduated from Montello High School and worked various jobs to support her family and eventually settled in Oshkosh to be closer to them. Sharon was a hard-working and independent person who would do anything for her family. She enjoyed knitting and dolls and spending time with her many grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Sharon is survived by her mother, Dorothy of Montello, five children: Jamie (Julie) of Omro, Chris (April) of Oshkosh, Teri Bickerstaff of Oshkosh, Anthony (Tonya) of West Bend and Jon (Steph) of Oshkosh. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a great-grandchild as well as five siblings: Mary Hitchcock, Cecilia Cieszki, Patricia (Dale) Cross, Dennis (Lynn) Schwochert and Brenda (Chuck) Schuch. Sharon is further survived by the father of her five children, Dan Zittlow of Appleton. Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Elmer and two infant siblings: Rhonda and John. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Buffalo Township, Marquette County. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Father David Greenfield will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established by the family. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family.
