Sharon Klug

Sharon Ann Klug, age 66 of Montello was peacefully called to rest on her 66th birthday, Thursday, March 27, 2025 surrounded by family, following a courageous 41-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at Edgewater Nursing Home in Port Edwards. Sharon was born on March 27, 1959 in Cedarburg to Gordon and Carol Kemp. She graduated from Florence High School in Florence before building a life full of love and adventure. Sharon had a deep passion for animals, motorcycles, fishing, and camping. She found peace in the beauty of nature and her adventurous spirit remained unwavering throughout her life.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her children: Shane (Shelby) Klug, Kristie (Jessie) Stephan, and Michelle (Rafal Aksamit) Klug. She is also treasured by her grandchildren: Kayla (Kris), McKinsey, Jocelyn, Savannah, Ashton, Evan, Jaden, Mya, and Nathin as well as her two great-granddaughters: Lydia and Lainey. Sharon is further remembered by her siblings: Bruce (Julie), Denise and Jodi. Sharon’s family also includes many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins, including cousin/best friend, Linda Bonder, who played an important role in her life.

Sharon was joyfully reunited with her parents and her forever love, Emil “Chuck” Charles Klug III who were waiting for her with open arms.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Sharon’s best friend, Renee Belsha, for her many years of unwavering devotion, care, and support. Their enduring friendship, built over the years, was filled with love, laughter, and mutual strength.

A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at a later date.
