Sandra Kroupa

Sandra “Sandi” Jean Kroupa, age 52 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at her home.  Sandi was born on July 15, 1971 to Walter and Judith Kroupa in Milwaukee.  She graduated from Wauwatosa East High School where she excelled in athletics.  Sandi furthered her education becoming an LPN at St. Luke’s Hospital in the cardiac unit.  Sandi loved her job and while working at St. Luke’s she sustained an injury that was life changing.  Throughout all her medical struggles, she remained positive and was determined to make the best of her situation.  Sandi was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed spending time with family and loved caring for her many animals.  She will be greatly missed.

Sandi is survived by her mother, Judith Kroupa of Packwaukee and three brothers:  Steven of West Allis, Mark (Terri) of West Allis and Dan (Michele) of Wauwatosa.  She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Loretta Chojnowski, lifelong special friend, Peggy Jacobs along with several more dear family and friends. 

Sandi is preceded in death by her father, Walter “Wally” Kroupa, maternal grandfather, Harry Chojnowski and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service for Sandra Kroupa will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.  A second service will be held at Schaff Funeral Home in West Allis on Sunday, December 10^th at 11:30 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Inurnment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter, W5096 State Road 82, Mauston, WI 53948.
