Rita Graf

Rita Maria Theresa Graf, age 80 of Montello passed away peacefully Saturday morning, June 13, 2015 at the Montello Care Center. Rita was born in Milwaukee to John "Orville" and Helen (Rutkowski) Kinart on July 8, 1934. She married Herman Graf on October 27, 1956 at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Milwaukee and together they raised their four children in New Berlin until retiring to their home on Buffalo Lake in 1997. Rita enjoyed spending time in her garden, dancing as well as fishing. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Rita loved spending time with her family and friends and those memories will be cherished forever. Rita is survived by her husband of 58 years, Herman and four children: Eric of Newport, KY, Dawn Nikolaus of West Milwaukee, Renee Graf of West Allis and Lynn (Gerald) Rademacher of Muskego. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as three brothers: Ronald (Marcia), Richard (Bonnie) and Russell (Judy). Rita is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Rita is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Robert and Randall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Father Tim Renz will preside and following the traditional service, Rita will be cremated and inurned at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, town of Montello. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that is being established in Rita's name.
