Richard Ziebell

Richard “Dick” Ziebell 78 of Montello (Lake Puckaway) passed away peacefully on May 17, 2020 at the VA Hospital in Madison.  He was the loving husband of Jean (nee Flynn) Ziebell and father of Terrie (James) and Kimm and step-father to Laurie, Lynn (Dale) and Katie.  Beloved brother of Kenn and Dennis and dear grandfather of Tyler, Mikayla, Mason Charlie, Tessa Rae, Dylan and Shane.  Dick was loved and will be remembered by other relatives and friends, including his best friend, Rich and Mike and Cathy from Good Old Days.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Violet (Ross) Ziebell and son, Jeff.

Dick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army for 8 years as well as in the reserves; he was a member of American Legion Post #351 of Montello.  He also served his community as a former member and president of the Montello Lions Club. Dick enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and had an artistic flare.  He will deeply miss all of his friends and security job at the Lake Arrowhead Campground.
