Richard Anthony Fudala, age 53 of Packwaukee, WI (formerly of Lombard) passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his home. Richard was born in Chicago on January 6, 1969 to Richard J. and Marie (McCarthy) Fudala. He graduated from Madam Curie High School in Chicago and went into the United States Navy, proudly serving his country. Following his time in service, Richard became a carpenter. He married Daryl “Dee” Wilson on December 28, 2001 and in 2009 they retired to Florida and in 2015 relocated to Packwaukee. Richard was an avid fisherman, but his proudest title was grandpa, he cherished the time he got to spend with his grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Dee, son, Justin (Natalie) and grandsons: Max, Mason and Montgomery, step-son, Alex VanAnrooy and niece, Holly Wilson. He is also survived by his mother, Marie (James) Bastounes, father, Richard J. (Arlean), sisters: Debby (Tom) Usher and Diane (Shawn Harper) Banks, brother-in-law, Todd (Tanya) Wilson as well as other extended family members.
Richard is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Fudala.
In honor of Rich, two celebrations of his life will be held: Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM at Moose Lodge #2350, 328 W. Roosevelt Road, Lombard, IL and Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1:00 until 4:00 PM at Rod’s Trading Post, W5920 Lake Street, Packwaukee.
