Pauline Roskie

Pauline Sadie Roskie, age 90 of Montello went to be with her Lord, Friday evening, May 8, 2015 from Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Pauline was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 6, 1925 to Frank and Rosa (Romero) Rocha. She graduated for the Cosmetology School of Colorado Springs which started her career primarily at the Butterfly Boutique in Packwaukee and also taught for a number of years at the Cosmetology School of Madison. She married Charles Roskie on May 15, 1993 and continued her hairdressing in the area and was much loved by her clients. Pauline also spent much time with her Frink Homemaker's Club and her extended family. Pauline leaves behind her husband, Charles, son, Wayne (Joan Osterson) Morris of Brainerd, MN and two daughters: Jayne (Roger) Trapp of Albany and Rosamund Joyce (Mel) Curtiss of Granton. She is also survived by two grandsons: Cody (Amber) Kargus and Paul (Heather) Curtiss as well as six great-grandchildren who she loved dearly. Pauline is further survived by brothers: Manny (Johanna) Rocha of Glenview, IL and Jess (Monica) Rocha of San Ramon, CA along with many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service for Pauline will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Manny Rocha and Pastor Cody Kargus will preside and private family inurnment will take place at a later date in the Montello City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for a memorial that is being established in Pauline's name.
