Paul Titschler

Paul William Titschler, age 69 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home. Paul was born in Chicago, IL on March 22, 1955 to William and Arlene Titschler. He graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago and became a lineman. Paul worked in the Chicagoland area for many years and relocated to rural Oxford in 1992. Upon coming to Oxford he continued to work as an electrician and ultimately finished his career at Brakebush Bros. as a maintenance technician. Paul married Marlena Spencer on Memorial Day Weekend 2006 in Oxford; she preceded him in death on August 6, 2013. Paul always looked forward to going out to eat and some of his greatest joys were bowhunting, riding his Harley and most importantly being grandpa and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for love of animals and great sense of humor.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Paula (Luke) Hanner of Portage and granddaughter, Aria. He is also survived by special friend, Jenny Williams, stepson, Jerome Scott Jr. and several other extended family members.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marlena and son, William.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford. No formal service will be held, but a brief time to share memories will conclude the gathering.
