Nancy Vent

Nancy J. Timm-Vent , age 84 of Montello, went to her family reunion in heaven on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison.  Nancy was born in Madison on April 24, 1937 to Norman and Vera (Ryan) Schultz and was raised in the DeForest area.  She married Roger Timm Sr. in July of 1957 and they had three beautiful children.  Nancy later married Robert “Bob” Vent on March 3, 1979.  Following a 25 year career with Wisconsin Power and Light, Nancy retired in 1992.  She enjoyed being secretary of the DeForest Golden Triangle Drifters Snowmobile Club, Secretary of The Lake Mason Association and Secretary/Treasurer of the Buffalo Lake Improvement Association as well as an Auxiliary Member of American Legion Post #351 of Montello.  Nancy looked forward to having her children and grandkids come to the lake to fish, swim and tube.  She loved her lake home and especially her 5:00 PM booze cruise.  Nancy enjoyed traveling, gambling, watching sports with Bob and watching the birds.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Bob and three children: son, Roger Jr. (Pam) Timm of Windsor and his sons: Josh, Jake (Jennifer) and Joel; daughter, Cathy Lochner of DeForest and her sons: Travis and Troy; and son, Dan Timm of Pardeeville and his children: Kyla, Jacy (Sam) and Bryce.  She is also survived by two stepsons: Brad (Christine) Vent of Arena and Brian (Liz) Vent of Rhinelander.   Nancy is further survived by two great-grandchildren: Shay and Cassius Timm, brother-in-law: Bill Stock Sr., sister-in-law, Carroll Pfeiffer and many other extended family members.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Carol, Norma J. and Noreen and godson, Jim Larson.

A funeral service for Nancy Timm-Vent will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  Burial will follow the service at Christian Faith Moravian Cemetery, DeForest.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Agrace Hospice, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
