Nancy Lee Spillner, age 73 of Packwaukee passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at her home. Nancy was born in Portage on May 22, 1945 to Willis and Leona (Klawitter) Ingraham. She graduated from Montello High School in 1963 and married John Spillner Sr.; together they had seven children and later divorced. Nancy loved taking care of her family and many of the town’s children. She enjoyed playing euchre, bowling, fishing and traveling with her sister. Nancy was blessed to have met and spent over twenty years with Dave Walker, he preceded her in death in 2008.
Nancy is survived by seven children: Lashell Spillner of Montello, John (Carolyn) Spillner of Colorado, Benjamin Spillner of Montello, Valerie (Dewayne) Alley of Alabama, Wendy (David) Breiwa of Packwaukee, Joseph (Cathy Ruedinger) Spillner of Wild Rose, Casandra Gifford of Ripon. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as three sisters: Lona Eberlein, May Rodgers and Melody Cimaroli. Nancy is further survived by Dave Walker’s son, Charlie and many other extended family members.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, infant granddaughter, Sara Pauline Spillner and siblings: Connie Meiller, Betty (Calvin) Breezer, Faye Rice, Janet (Robert) Pritchard and Melvin “Bud” (Charlotte) Ingraham.
The family invites you to a Celebration of Nancy’s Life on Friday, March 15 th at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Packwaukee. A luncheon will follow at the Montello American Legion at noon.
