Nancy Carol Jaster , age 65 of Montello went to her eternal home peacefully Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Nancy was born in Fond du Lac to Edgar and Wilma (Disbrow) Jaster on March 10, 1956. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello and graduated from Montello High School in 1974.
Nancy worked at Brakebush for many years. Her great adventure was to drive to Alaska where she lived for several years. Upon returning to Wisconsin, she lived in the Westfield and Montello areas. Nancy drove school bus for many years, retiring in 2018. She loved music and used her gift by singing in the choir at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Nancy also enjoyed gardening and loved her many cats and dogs. She always looked forward to visiting with her family and was supportive of her many nieces and nephews.
Nancy is survived her mother, Wilma Jaster and five sisters: Luann (Robert) Sittig and their children: Ryan (Alicia), Daniel (Michele), Samantha (Jon), Rachel (Mark) and Rebekah (Ethan); Jill Murphy and her children: Megan (Sam), Marie (Shane), Bridget and Bradley; Becky (Doug) Schulz and their children: Allison (Liam), Abby and Emily; Gail (Gary) Glunn and their children: Leah (Brett) and Anna; Kristen (Kris) Cragin and their children: Korrina, Kaleb, Karrigan and Kameron. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Terri Jaster and her sons: Benjamin (Megan) and Jacob as well as aunt, Carol Roach, uncle, Paul (Marcia) Disbrow and several extended family members.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father, brother, Joel and brother-in-law, Robert Murphy.
A memorial service for Nancy Jaster will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Inurnment will immediately follow the service at the Montello Eastside Cemetery.
