Mary Machajewski

Mary Jane Machajewski , age 74 of Packwaukee passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at her home after battling cancer.  Mary was born in Waterford to Frank and Catherine (Kaszowicz) Novak on March 29, 1944.  She graduated from Waterford High School in 1962 and married Fred Machajewski Sr. on June 11, 1966 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Waterford.  Together they were blessed with 45 years of marriage and four children; Fred preceded Mary in death on August 13, 2011.  Mary enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, flowers and baking.  She also enjoyed her pets, especially her favorite dogs: Casey and Angel.  Traveling to the East Coast was a recent highlight for Mary and above all else, she loved taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary leaves behind four children:  Randy (Cherri) of Montello, Ron (Mindy) of Westfield, Fred Jr. (Carol) of Montello and Shelly (Steven) Machajewski of Packwaukee as well as six grandchildren: Desiray, Tyler, Emily, Conner, Abbi and Lohgan.  Mary is also survived by two great-grandchildren: Kimber and Jared and several siblings and other extended family members.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred as well as several siblings.

A memorial prayer service led by Father Savio Yerasani will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.  Inurnment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family.
