Mary Kay Hoffman, age 82 of Montello (Emery Lake) passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. Mary Kay was born in Milwaukee to William and Rose (Schmidt) Bomm on December 15, 1942. She graduated from Messmer Catholic High School in Milwaukee and later attended Milwaukee Area Technical College for Cosmetology. Mary Kay worked as a beautician, later she started waitressing and worked for Braun's Family Restaurant in Ripon for many years. She met Landis Hoerig and the two married in 1965. The two lived in Milwaukee, Sheboygan and eventually settled in Ripon where they raised their two daughters and later divorced. She married Reuben Hoffman in 1987, they resided on Lawrence Lake in Westfield and they enjoyed over 20 happy years together until his passing. She found love again and has spent the last fourteen years with Wesley Balsley and all that Emery Lake has to offer.

Mary Kay enjoyed traveling to Arizona to visit her daughters and grandkids. She loved the many winters she spent there enjoying the weather and spending time with family. She enjoyed playing cards with her loved ones, relaxing with a good book, crocheting gifts for her kids and grandkids and remodeling/decorating every house she's ever owned. Mary Kay will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her dogs and the many organizations she was so generous to donate to.

She is also survived by her brothers: James (Susan) Bomm and William Bomm along with many extended family members.

Mary Kay is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Barbara (Roy) Rasmussen and sister-in-law, Judith Bomm.
