Marlene Grisaffi

Marlene Mary Grisaffi, age 77 of Montello passed away peacefully with her son by her side Sunday evening, June 22, 2014 at her home. Marlene was born in Milwaukee on February 18, 1937 to Arthur and Helen (Wojciechowski) Napieralski. She later married Jerome Grisaffi in June of 1955 and together they lived and worked in Milwaukee until Jerome's passing in 1990. In 1991, Marlene moved to her present home on Williams Lake. Marlene loved to garden, work in her yard and care for her dog, Chester. She was a faithful member of The People's Church and always remained busy volunteering and helping others. Marlene will always be remembered for her big heart and never being able to say "no" to someone in need. Marlene is survived by her three children: Kathleen (Eric) Raymark of Milwaukee, Richard of Montello and Colleen (Alan) Krukowski of Mauston as well as three grandchildren: Tracy, Tony and Megan. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Dorothy Grisaffi of Syracuse, NY and her church family. Marlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers: Arthur Jr. and Robert. A funeral service for Marlene will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The People's Church, 3045 15th Road, Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Pastor Mark Hensley will preside and burial will be held at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
