Lucille A. Barrett , age 71 of Montello passed away peacefully, Tuesday afternoon, February 22, 2021 at Divine Savior Hospital in Portage. She was born on November 23, 1949 in Faribault, MN the daughter of Donald and Beverly Ann (Thom) Barrett.
Lucille graduated from Stoughton High School in 1968 and worked in Madison for Research Products for several years before going to work for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation. She retired from the State and moved to Montello to be closer to family.
Lucille spent time as a historian for the American Legion post in Madison, enjoyed crocheting, making bouquets of flowers for weddings, playing cards with her family and enjoyed going out to eat.
Lucille will be greatly missed by her loving and caring siblings: Kathleen Udstuen of Stoughton, Patricia (Randy) Bond of Montello, Juanene (Chris) Johnson of West Bloomfield and brother-in-law, Kenneth Hermann of Pardeeville. She was also blessed with many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews that loved and cared for her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Elizabeth Thom, parents, stepfather, Jac Kivett, sister, Cynthia Hermann and nephew, Steven Hermann.
Due to the current pandemic, Lucille’s family will privately celebrate her life at a later date.
