Lisa Stansbury

Lisa Lynn Stansbury, age 36, formerly of Montello, passed away peacefully, Sunday, March 25, 2012 into the loving arms of our savoir, Jesus Christ. Lisa was born on December 13, 1975 in Madison to Judy and Gary Schmidtke-Stansbury. Lisa grew up in Madison and also Montello with her parents and sister, Tami Stansbury. Lisa was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. Her family, especially her nephew, Devin Nelson and her niece, Trista Nelson meant the world to Lisa. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially going fishing with her dad. Lisa also loved to sing, loved the great outdoors and enjoyed being around children. Lisa was a fun loving and wonderful friend; she would give the world to you. Lisa will always be sadly missed and is survived by her parents, her best friend and sister, Tami (fianci�½ Mike Nelson) and her nephew, Devin and niece, Trista all of Montello. Lisa is also survived by her grandmother, Jean Schmidtke of Westfield as well as four aunts: Barb Schmidtke, Kathy Voiss, Joan Schmidtke and Sue Olson (nee Benson)and three uncles: Jim (Jean) Schmidtke, Ken Schmidtke and Steve Schmidtke as well as many cousins. Lisa is preceded in death by her grandfather, Kendal Schmidtke. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Dawn Helton-Anishnaabeqwa will officiate and following the traditional service, Lisa will be cremated.
