Lee Grosskreuz

Lee Grosskreuz, age 88 of Packwaukee passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo. Lee was born in Milwaukee on April 8, 1928 and later married Henry Grosskreuz on October 4th of 1946. Together they were blessed with four children. After finishing their careers in the Milwaukee Area, they moved to their home on Buffalo Lake in the late 1970's. Henry preceded Lee in death on November 4, 2008. Lee enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and will remembered for her young spirit even as she aged. She was always up for a game of poker and in younger years she enjoyed fishing. Lee always looked forward to family gatherings and cherished the time they spent together. Lee leaves behind four children: Robert (Diana) Grosskreuz, Susan (Ronald) Perron, Mary Lee Matovich and Patricia (Erik) Olsen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.

Lee is preceded in death by her husband and one grandson, Robert J. Matovich Jr. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank all the staff from Home Health United for the assistance they gave to Lee and her family.
