Kenneth Raddatz

Kenneth “Ken” E. Raddatz, age 78 of Montello (Lake Puckaway) passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Ken was born in Milwaukee to Edward and Geneva (Hicks) Raddatz on October 29, 1946. He attended high school in Milwaukee and became a truck driver. Ken married Linda Mundy on October 15, 1966 and together they were blessed with two sons; she preceded him in death on March 1, 1984. Ken made Lake Puckaway his permanent home in 2006 and married his longtime partner, Mary (Magenheim) Manning in Montello on July 10, 2015; she preceded him in death on February 22, 2020.

Ken’s career as a truck driver spanned over 40 years. He owned and operated Ken Raddatz Trucking based in West Allis for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his UTV as well as singing karaoke. He most recently was employed by Metta Transport. Ken will be remembered for his love of life, sense of humor, wealth of friends and kind heart.

Ken is survived by his children: Wade (Penelope) Raddatz, Laura (Kevin) Spencer and Kevin (Kelly) Manning and daughter-in-law, Amy Raddatz. He is also survived by grandsons: Keith, Karl, Eric, Will, Zack, Aaron and Kaj along with granddaughters: Trista, Linda, Alaina, Violet, Zoey and Amanda and great-grandchildren: Aniyah, Lyrik, Karter, Arianna, River, and Cayden. Ken is further survived by two brothers: Michael (Kathleen) and Jeffery (Kim) as well as many extended family members.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, wives: Linda and Mary, son, Jesse, grandson, Isaiah and great-grandson, Bo.

A funeral service for Kenneth Raddatz will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. Pastor Mike Vargo will preside and burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Town of Fountain Prairie, Columbia County.
