Kenneth Leeseberg

Kenneth Karl Leeseberg, age 92 of Montello passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Dells. Ken was born in Addison, Illinois on April 2, 1932 to Herman and Flora (Bruns) Leeseberg. He graduated from York High School and went on to proudly serve his country as a member of the United States Army. Ken married Marlene Erlandson on February 2, 1952 at Grace Lutheran Church in Villa Park, IL and together they were blessed with four children. Marlene preceded Ken in death on July 9, 2015.

Ken began his career with Commonwealth Edison and started his own janitorial service, Kenway, Inc. He was a well-known clock maker and repairman. They moved to Montello in 1986 and enjoyed many years on Williams Lake. He and Marlene were members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee. 

Ken is survived by his children: Kathy (Deb Hawney) Leeseberg of West Chicago, IL, Peggy (Mike) Campion of Montello, John (Leda) of Tennessee and Jim (Angie Riley) of West Chicago, IL as well as four grandchildren: Adeline Campion, Joshiah (Darnell) Campion, Jessica Leeseberg and Jacqueline Leeseberg along with two great-grandchildren: Brayden and Brynlee Campion. He is also survived by his sister, Jean Meyer.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Joey Campion and eight siblings. 

A memorial service for Ken Leeseberg will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the hour of service. Pastor Larry Sheppard will preside and private inurnment will take place at a later date at Underhill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Budda Box Against Cancer, P.O. Box 591, Montello, WI 53949.
