Karen Olbinski

Karen Leah Olbinski , age 73 of Oxford passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the SSM St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo.  Karen was born in Westfield on April 17, 1947 to Walter and Bernice (Wachholz) Conrad.  She attended Westfield schools and lived in the Wisconsin Dells/Oxford area for most of her life.  Karen married John Olbinski on March 26, 2001 in La Vegas and together they enjoyed many things together until his passing in January of 2014.

Karen was employed by the Wisconsin Dells School District working in several different capacities and retired after 38 years of faithful employment.  She was a hard-working and caring person; always putting others' needs before her own.  Karen will be thoughtfully remembered for the ability to tell you what she thought and her sense of humor.

Survivors include: daughter, Annette Conrad of Oxford and step-son, Shawn Kluge of Packwaukee as well as her granddaughter, Melody and several other grandchildren as well as other extended family members.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons: Mel Conrad, David Tushkowski and Roger Conrad.

Honoring Karen’s wishes, private family services will be held.
