Joyce Hinrichsen

Joyce Ann Hinrichsen, age 78 of Montello passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 8, 2023 at her home.  Joyce was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on February 13, 1945 and was raised by her mother, Marjorie Schriver.  After graduating from high school, she furthered her education and became a banker.  Joyce moved to Illinois and help a friend where she met and married Bruce Hinrichsen on October 15, 1994 in Dundee.  Joyce and Bruce relocated to their home on Buffalo Lake in 2000.

Joyce was an avid reader who also enjoyed cooking and singing.  She took great pride in her quilts as well as thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.  Joyce will be remembered for her laughter and kindness.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bruce and three children:  Heidi (Eric) Haag, Katrina (Brian) Kanopka and Terry (Randy) Tomson as well as five grandchildren:  Rosalie, Theresa, Cecelia, Amanda and Alicia.  She is also survived by great-grandson, Victor and several other extended family members.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents.

Honoring Joyce’s wishes, private services will take place at a later date.
