John Kirchner

John “AJ, Jack” R. Kirchner , 87 of Endeavor passed away May 12, 2022.  Beloved father of David Kirchner, Kathy (Joseph) Medrow. Proud Grandpa of Alec, Jack (Brogan Zochert) Medrow. Further survived by extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents: Carl Kirchner, Genevieve and Joseph Grooms, beloved son, Kenneth and siblings: Robert (Arlene), James (Rosemary) and Darlene (Gilbert Bustamente).

John was drafted and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a proud Union Carpenter until his retirement in 1989, when he began building his log home near Endeavor. He enjoyed many happy years there with family and friends; fishing, boating, hunting and relishing the outdoors. John enjoyed entertaining family and friends and was always ready with a quick joke. He will be forever in our hearts.

A memorial service for John R. Kirchner will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.  Pastor Mike Vargo will preside and inurnment will be private.
