John Hunt

John L. Hunt, age 67 of New Lisbon, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. John was born in Huntsville, TX on August 13, 1943 to Leroy and Anna (Milkavich) Hunt. John worked as a dock worker unloading and loading trucks. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and had a passion for swimming and horses. John is survived by his companion and special friend of 30 years, Bernice Adamak and two sons: Jonathon (Amy) of Coloma and Jason of Jefferson, WI and son-in-law, John Mayer of Arizona. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Barry, Steven, Sam, Jason, Joseph, James and Madison. John is further survived by the mother of his children, Ann Hunt of Montello and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. John is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: David and Dennis as well as his daughter, Jennifer. Following John's wishes, he was cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
