Jean Mary Landgraf, age 75 of Oxford passed away unexpectedly, Saturday October 17, 2020 at her home. Jean was born on April 10, 1945 in Milwaukee to David and Eleanor (Moorman) Johnson. She graduated from Brookfield Central High School in 1963 and married Peter Landgraf on May 10, 1965 in West Bend. Peter preceded her in death on December 14, 2016.
Jean was a busy person, always taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was especially important to her. She enjoyed doing puzzles and even made time to go hunting and fishing with her family. Jean will also be remembered for singing the National Anthem at the Oxford 4 th of July Celebration on multiple occasions and for her 30 years of service to her community as an EMT on the Oxford Ambulance.
Jean is survived by her children: Rachael (George Kaiser) Bass of Westfield, Chip (Elisa) of Coloma, Leah (Dan) Leiss of Spring Creek, Nevada and Karl (Cari) of Oxford as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings: Alma “Bunny” Paul, David (Barbara) Johnson and Peter (Cheryl) Johnson as well as other extended family members and friends.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother-in-law, Jim Paul.
In accordance with Jean’s wishes and due to COVID, there will be no funeral services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held when it is safe to gather.
