Together they were blessed with four sons; Skip preceded Janice in death on December 21, 2012.
Janice was a firm believer in both faith and family. She was a longtime member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Montello. Janice also loved watching her grandkids grow up. She would not miss any of her grandchildren or great-grandchildren sporting events, birthdays, graduation, etc. She was always there to support and cheer them on. She couldn’t be more proud of them and their various accomplishments. More recently she enjoyed her great-grandchildren and loved seeing them as often as she could.
Janice is survived by her four sons: Justus Carl (Kimberly) of Montello, Jeffrey (Pamela) of Hancock, James (Hope) of Windsor and Jerry (Al Oldham) of Milwaukee and seven grandchildren: Nicole Spillner, Justus Chase (Elizabeth) Spillner, Jarod Spillner, Michelle Spillner, Alissa (fiancé, Tim Ferguson) Spillner, Courtney (Zachariah) Zunker, and Ariel Spillner as well as four great-grandchildren: Justus Caleb, Lillian, Kayleigh and Addison. She is also survived by sisters: Wilma Guerten, Elvera Phelps and Connie (Fred) Cavanaugh, one uncle, Arden Bandt and other extended family members.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Ronald (Karen) Erdman, brothers-in-law: James Guerten Sr., Al Phelps, and an aunt: Mary Jane Bandt. She is also preceded in death by her very special canine friend, Hercules.
