Janet Goetz

Janet Sarah Goetz , age 63 of Montello passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage.  Janet was born in Glen Ellyn, Illinois to Ed and Connie Bro on September 27, 1958.  She graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1976. Janet married John Goetz on July 7, 2007 at the Bro Farm outside of Montello; John preceded Janet in death on July 6, 2022.

Janet took great pleasure spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughters.  Her love of anything turquoise, nature, dogs and cats was apparent to all.  Spending time by water brought peace and joy into her life.

Janet is survived by her two sons: Russell Gregory of Houston, TX and Frank (Kat) Rostan of Annapolis, MD and her two granddaughters: Reagan and Kennedy.  She is also survived by siblings:  Laura (Ellis Tesh) Bro, Brian (Ramona) Bro and Randy (Denise) Bro as well as nieces and nephews: Frank Valenti, Monique (Glenn) Winningham, TJ (Lani) Zeveski, Paul Zeveski, Amanda Bro and Madeline Bro.

Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet’s memory are preferred to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 313 E. Montello Street, Montello, WI 53949.
