Jack William Leonard Stalker, 19 of Montello/Packwaukee passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident in the town of Pacific, Columbia County. Jack was born on February 18, 1997 to David Sparby and Traci Stalker in Madison. He attended High Marq Environmental Charter School before starting his career in carpentry with Campion Construction in the Montello Area.
Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as fishing, hunting and just being out in nature. Other hobbies were hiking, playing video games, bonfires and building things. Jack was honest to everyone he met and a friend to all. He was a confidant to those who needed to bear their soul, to anyone that needed a friendly ear. Jack's smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Jack is survived by his parents: David (Bobbe Jo) Sparby of Montello and Traci (Patrick) Campion of Montello and his sister, Grace Campion. He is also survived by grandparents: Arlene Sparby, Barb Otteson, Mary Lou Campion and Gordy and Joanne Monroe. Jack is further survived by aunts and uncles: Willy (Megan) Stalker, Kari (Justin) Gammeter, Lloyd (Amanda) Stalker, Kelli (Matt) Schlit, Tina (Troy Traut) Otteson, Carl (Carly) Olson, Gary Olson, Dennis Olson, Tiffany Wenzel, Tony Olson, Mike Gammeter, Roberta (Arnold) Rudi and Carol (Dick) Post as well as many great aunts and uncles and the Otteson, Campion and Monroe families. He left behind many cousins who loved him dearly, special friends: Mason Adams, Luke Schielka, Brandon Lewandowski, Connor O'Matta and the rest of his posse. Jack is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Dennis Olson and Donald Sparby, grandmother, Shelly Olson, aunt, Jean Sparby, uncle, Tom Campion and great-grandparents: Leonard and Margene Otteson. A funeral service for Jack will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. Following the traditional service, Jack will be cremated and private family inurnment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred for a memorial that will be established in Jack's name.
