Elizabeth Conhartoski

Elizabeth 'Betty' (Burger) Conhartoski, age 68, of Milwaukee, formerly of Montello, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, August 24, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born on August 25, 1942 in Roselle, IL to Herbert and Alvina (Hoberstick) Fielitz. Betty married Jerome 'Jerry' Burger and together they owned and operated Montello Apparel from 1965 until his death in the early 1980's. She then moved to Milwaukee and married John Conhartoski at the Chapel of the Bells in 1989. Betty enjoyed gardening, camping and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her husband, John and two sons: Ron (Kathy) Burger of Mt. Prospect, IL and Todd (Brenda Scherbert) of Montello. She is also survived by thirteen loving grandchildren as well as siblings: Bobby (Nanci) Fielitz, Floyd Fielitz and Bunny Gitchel. Betty is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerome Burger and two brothers: Art and Otto. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Pete Zietlow will officiate and burial will follow at the Eastside Cemetery in Montello. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family. www.CrawfordFH.com
