Donna Ludwig

Donna Mae Ludwig, age 61 of Montello (formerly of Sandwich) passed away at her home on Saturday, March 29, 2025 surrounded by her family. Donna was born in St. Charles, Illinois on June 26, 1963 to James and Dolores (Dieter) Ludwig. She graduated from Wheaton North High School in 1981. Donna raised her three children and was a self-proclaimed “Jack of All Trades.” Donna enjoyed bringing joy to all of those around her. She lit up every room she entered and had a smile for everyone.

Donna leaves behind two daughters: Noelle Roy of Sandwich, IL and Cassandra (Jordan) Mays of Farmington, MO and seven grandchildren: Cadence, Vella-Mae, Myla, Liliana, Allison, Rebecca and Sawyer. She is also survived by her siblings: Cynthia (Gerald) Frantzen, Linda (Dave) Koch, James (Beverly) Ludwig Jr, Debra (Lon) Schouten, Wesley (Janet) Ludwig, and Laura (Mel) Baron. Donna is further survived by her friend and roommate, Annette St. Onge along with many other friends.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dolores Ludwig, son, Marshall Roy and brother, Frank Ludwig.

Honoring Donna’s wishes, there will be no service. Please come to The Rustic Saloon in Montello on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM until last call to celebrate Donna’s Life.
