Dolores Broderick

Dolores "Dolly" Broderick, age 86 of Montello passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, February 20, 2016 at the Montello Care Center. Dolores was born in Green Lake to Lloyd and Mary (Palmer) Burling on March 3, 1929. She married William Broderick and together they were blessed with four children; William preceded her in death in the 1992. Dolores was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello; she also served on the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the Montello Fire Belles while her husband served on the Volunteer Fire Department. Dolores was a giving person, volunteering for several other organizations in the area. She worked at local restaurants and enjoyed reading and doing word searches. Dolores will be greatly missed. Dolores leaves behind three children: Cathy Broderick of Janesville, Debbie Broderick of Shawano and David of Montello as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Pete (Pat) of Grafton and many extended family members and friends. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, son, Danny and many brothers and sisters. A memorial service for Dolores will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Montello. There will be no visitation. Pastor Pete Zietlow will preside and private family inurnment will take place at a later date in the Montello City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
