Diana Wieglein

Diana M. Wieglein, age 65 of Baraboo, formerly of Montello passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 26, 2010 at the St. Clare Care Center in Baraboo. She was born in Washington County, WI to Lawrence and Kathren (Behiem) Mueller on August 14, 1945. Diana married Kenneth Wieglein at St. Columbus Catholic Church in Washington County on November 7, 1963; he preceded her in death on October 17, 2008. Diana was a very faithful and devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello even after her health didn't allow her to attend regularly. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, playing bingo and spending time outside in her garden. She will always be remembered her wonderful smile. Diana is survived by: one son, Dennis of Nekoosa, two grandchildren, Darcee and Colten as well as five siblings: Arlene Gotowitz of Baraboo, Beverly (Ralph) Hall of Slinger, Kenneth (Donna) Mueller of Colgate and Donald (Betty) Mueller of Germantown. She is also survived by a very special niece, Kristine (Todd) Heckel and other nieces, nephews and friends alike. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Lawrence Jr. and brother-in-law, Glen Gotowitz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Father Michael Richel will officiate and burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or St. Clare Care Center. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family.
