Diana Beaver

Diana L. Beaver, age 73 of Montello passed away unexpectedly Tuesday evening, February 8, 2010 at the Montello Care Center. She was born on April 28, 1937 in Delevan, WI to Chet and Evelyn (Smith) Worthing. She was united in marriage to Harlan R. Curtis in 1958 at the United Methodist Church in Poynette; he preceded her in death on September 19, 1989. Diana worked as a CNA at Divine Savior Extended Care in Portage, but most of all she was busy caring for her family. She loved to collect frogs and Eeyore memorabilia. Other hobbies she enjoyed were playing the keyboard and video games as well as spending time with her family. Diana is survived by her six children: Chet (Tracy) Curtis of Pardeeville, Cathy (Billy) Sutherland of Kentucky, Stephen Curtis of Portage, Cindy (Jim) Hartman of Columbus, Eric Beaver of Montello and John Luke of Portage as well as twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Grace (Leo) Heimendinger of Georgia and a brother, David Worthing of Oregon. Diana is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She will be greatly missed. Preceding Diana in death are her parents, husband, granddaughter, Heather Sutherland, grandson, Brandon Beaver, and great-grandchildren: Lidia Graham and Ronnie Jo Graham. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Wesleyan Bible Church, 113 2nd Street in Pardeeville at 11:00 a.m. No visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family.
