Duane Orth

Duane “Dewey” John Orth, age 59 of Montello passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2023.  Dewey was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt. His last day spent on this earth he made sure to take down one last turkey. Dewey liked to joke around and give people a hard time just as much as he loved to fish and hunt; friends down at River’s Bend will attest to that.

Dewey was preceded in death by his parents: Eufemia “Effie” and Ronald Orth, and his wife, Patricia. Surviving him are his son, Joshua (Ashley), daughter, Marissa (Bryan) and stepdaughters: Brittany and Kate, along with grandchildren, extended family and close friends that were just like family.

Dewey will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Montello City Cemetery with private family services.  A celebration of his life will be held Friday, April 28th, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at J & J River’s Bend, W2614 Fox Lane, Montello, WI 53949.
