Daniel Werdin

Daniel "Danny" Werdin, age 55 of Montello, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac surrounded by his loving family. Danny was born on August 29, 1960 the son of Gordon and Mary (Atkinson) Werdin in Beaver Dam. He married Barbara Ann Bach in Madison on July 26, 1986 and from that union came two children. Danny loved his family most of all. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and living out in the country. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Barbara and two children: Stacy Werdin of Brooklyn, NY and Neil (Nicole) of Red Granite and his granddaughter, Mackenzie as well as three siblings: Jeff (Bette) Werdin of Montello, Theresa (Barry) Campbell and David Werdin both of Madison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Heather (Lance) Trollop, Christopher (Angi) Harring, Stephanie (Jordan) Stroik, Eric (Amy)Werdin, Becky Harring, Eric (Zuyla) Harring and Cari Harring. Danny is further survived by his uncle, Charles "Chuck" Atkinson, his great aunt, Faye Williamson and other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Danny's life will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. There will be no formal service. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, town of Montello. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that is being established in Daniel's name.
