Dale Krueger

Dale K. Krueger, age 72 of Montello passed away peacefully surrounded by his family early Thursday morning, February 16, 2012 at his home after lengthy battle with cancer. Dale was born in Milwaukee to Howard and Corrine (Clauer) Krueger on June 8, 1939. He worked as a carpet layer and also for the Germantown School District for 21 years in the maintenance department until he retired and moved to Montello in 1995. Dale was an avid outdoorsman; hunting and fishing whenever possible. He also enjoyed collecting fishing lures. Dale was a hard working and simple man and that is how he wants people to remember him. Dale is survived by his five children: Sandy McConnell of Montello, Donald (Wendy) of Milwaukee, Darlene Houdek of Montello, James of Montello and Kathleen (Paul) Hernstein. He is also survived by many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Dale is further survived by three brothers: Deveron (Charlene) of Germantown, Rand (Linda) of New Burg and Rick (Bonnie) of Germantown as well as the mother of his children, Carol Fisher Krueger and second wife, Arlene. Dale is preceded in death by his parents. Dale's wishes were to be cremated and no services held. Private family inurnment will take place at Oakhill Cemetery, Packwaukee Township.
