Clement 'Clem' F. Bonneau, age 89 of Montello passed away peacefully Friday afternoon November 19, 2010 at The Residences on Forest Lane in Montello. Clem was born an only child on April 23, 1921 in Hermansville, MI. He married Mary Mazurco on March 6, 1943 in Milwaukee; she preceded him in death on December 3, 2007. Clem valiantly served his country in World War II as a member of the United States Army; he earned multiple service medals and was part of many combat missions including 'The Battle of the Bulge.' Following his time in the service, Clem traveled the globe as a salesman and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing. It wasn't until 1986 that he and Mary moved from Wauwatosa to Montello. While in Montello they were members of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Clem is survived by only a few distant relatives and preceded in death by his wife and parents. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Father Michael Richel will officiate and burial will follow with full military honors at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family. www.CrawfordFH.com
