Charles Burton

Charles “Chuck” Burton, age 87 of Montello, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at his home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a great bowler back in the day. Chuck loved fishing on Buffalo Lake, watching the deer, birds, rabbits, and other wildlife that frequented his yard, and walking his dogs Dolly and Sarge. He worked for many years managing the Repairs/Service Department of Parts Distributors, a division of Hughes Enterprises in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Chuck is survived by his wife of more than 50 years Deborah; his daughter, Kristen (Rob); his son, William (Sheila), and his grandchildren, Alex and Cameron. He will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
