Charles Becker

Charles Edward Becker , age 86 of Westfield passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Montello Care Center.  Chuck was born at home in the town of Springfield, Marquette County to Robert and Emma (Lange) Becker on May 7, 1932.  All his schooling took place at Springfield Rural School.  He farmed with his father and later worked as a journey lineman for REA Utility Co. in Wautoma.  Charles was gifted at trimming and felling trees, he took great pride in his work.  He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed: snowmobiling, and water skiing.

Chuck is survived by daughter, Virginia Furumo of Oak Creek and sons: Charles of Westfield and Robert of Wisconsin Rapids.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and his brother, Wilber.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, son, John, sister, Lucille Klemm and brothers: Robert and Edward.

Charles Becker will be buried with a private ceremony in the Wautoma Union Cemetery.
