Carol Strack

Carol Ann Strack, age 89 of Wisconsin Dells (Jordan Lake) passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Our House Assisted Living in Wisconsin Dells.   Carol was born in South Beloit, Illinois on October 13, 1934 to Harry and Eliza (Moore) Nichols.  She graduated from Hononegah High School in 1952 and married Harold Strack on her birthday in 1956.  Together they raised their two boys in the Roscoe area; she worked for many years in the kitchen at Hononegah High School and was known as one of the lunch ladies.  Harold preceded Carol in death in January of 1992; Carol relocated to Jordan Lake in 1999.  She loved to spend time with her family and having them together at Jordan Lake was very important to her. 

Carol is survived be her two sons:  Dale (Christine) of Rockton, IL and Michael of Oxford as well as two grandchildren: Holly and Zack (Tabitha) along with two step-grandchildren:  Matt (Beth) and Nicole (Brian).  She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Jeannie) Nichols, sister, Beth Allsop and sister-in-law, Jan (Erich) Hagenlocher.  Carol is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. 

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Beverly (Dave) Ellis and brother-in-law, Bob Alsop.

A visitation for Carol Strack will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Crawford Funeral Home in Oxford.  Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 AM at Pinnacle Hill Cemetery in Roscoe, IL on Friday.
