Carol Krueger

Carol Sue Krueger, age 83 of Montello passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 surrounded by her family at Harris Villa Assisted Living in Westfield.  Carol was born in Milwaukee on November 3, 1940 to Walter and Eleanor (Starr) Fisher.  She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee and married Dale Krueger; they had five children.  Carol loved her children more than anything, she was an amazing mother.  She also was an animal lover.  Carol enjoyed painting, singing and had a great sense of humor.  She will be remembered for the love she had for her St. Bernards. 

Carol is survived by her five children: Sandy McConnell of Westfield, Donny (Wendy) of Grand Marsh, Dolly Houdek of Montello, Jimmy Krueger of Montello and Kathy (Paul) Hernstine of Oxford.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and her sister, Gail Koback and her family.  Carol s further survived by her favorite canine companion, Nala.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Michelle Krueger and Dale Krueger.

A funeral service for Carol Krueger will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.   Pastor Terry Temanson will preside and burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Packwaukee.
