Brian Klawitter

Brian K. Klawitter, age 51 of Montello passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, November 20, 2010. Brian was born on March 13, 1959 to Clarence and Judith (Jensen). He was a 1977 graduate of Montello High School and following high school he worked and lived on the family farm until recently he also worked as a custodian at the John Muir School in Portage. Brian enjoyed listening to music, discussing politics and was a history/trivia buff. He also enjoyed going to sporting events; especially teams in the local area. In his junior year in high school he participated in Badger Boys State at Ripon. Survivors include his father, Clarence and four sisters: Carla (Dave) Henke of Portage, Brenda Esselman of Stoughton, Sara (Kim) Wilson of Prairie du Sac and Jenny Klawitter of West Bend. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: David (Noemi) Esselman, Adam Henke, Janell Esselman, Laura (Ron) Myers, Joseph and Fletcher Dahl and Kailey Klawitter Walters. Brian is further survived by many aunts, uncles and friends. Preceding Brian in death are his mother, Judy, paternal grandparents, Elmer (Phoebe) Klawitter and maternal grandparents, Carl (Clara) Jensen. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the Crawford Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Sue Bryce will preside and a private family burial will take place at a later date at the Montello City Cemetery. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is assisting the family with arrangements.
